Joe Lyons: 2012 Flextronics Shannon Scratch Cup

Current Irish International, Eddie McCormack strolled to victory in the 2012 Shannon Senior Scratch Cup yesterday. A native of Cavan living in Galway, McCormack's 134 total of 10 under par was a truly astonishing performance. There are a number indicators to back this up most notably the excellent performance of Eugene Smith from Ardee who shot 138 - 6 under to finish second. Stephen Moloney Castletroy shot 145 for third while yours truly shot 146 to finish fourth.
Having played well to finish two over despite a few missed putts here and there I cannot overstate how good a performance this was from Eddie (another CeeGee).
